Artists Wanted, 3rd Ward and SCOPE Art Show thank all participating entrants for being a part of the 2nd annual Art Takes Miami competition (2011). The volume of craft, vision and execution reflected in the work received has been exceptional.

It’s been an arduous task, but after thorough review, the selected artists of Art Takes Miami 2011 have been determined with the help of our judges: Alexis Hubshman, Founder of Scope Art Fair; Mollie White, Show Director, Scope Art Fair; Alexis Tryon, Founder & CEO of Artsicle; Amanda McDonald Crowley, Executive Director of Eyebeam; Melissa DeWitt, Editor of Hotshoe International; Sam Barzilay, Director of the New York Photo Festival; David Revere McFadden, Chief Curator and Vice President for Programs and Collections of the Museum of Arts & Design; and Kaori Sohma, Co-Founder & Creative Director of The Lifelong Friendship Society.

A big congratulations to the Grand Prize artists Ursula Sprecher and Andi Cortellini!
