Exploring the substance of light and “emphasizing the viewer’s physical experience of infinite space”, an ambitious new work by American artist Doug Wheeler is currently on view at David Zwirner gallery through Feb 25th. A pioneer of the so-called “Light and Space” movement, Wheeler’s large-scale installations have rarely been seen in the U.S.
