Biography:
Rebecca grew up in Virginia and graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Photography. Upon graduation, Rebecca accepted a job at Harper's Bazaar, first as an assistant to creative director Fabien Baron and then as an Associate Photo Editor. After two years, Rebecca left to pursue a career in photography.
Rebecca has photographed for Details, Elle Decor, GQ, Harper's Bazaar, Newsweek, New York magazine, Spin, the Sunday Telegraph, Teen Vogue, Time Magazine, V, Vibe, Vogue India, Vogue UK, W and the Wall Street Journal. Rebecca was recently published in AP25, a collection of the best photography in 2008 and also selected for the forthcoming AP 26. She is currently shooting a personal project on female rites of passage and coming of age traditions in the United States, which she hopes to soon publish in book form. She is based happily in New York's Lower East Side.
