Biography:
Alex Vazart, was born in France, on May 9th, 1977. The son of a champagne-maker, Alex’s first years, from the moment he could hold a camera, were spent photographing nature and the surroundings of the property. Alex attended private school in Switzerland, but knew immediately that his place in life was to be behind the camera. He describes himself as an “emotion catcher” of life. Upon graduating, he decided to devote his life to photography and took a job assisting a Swiss photographer, Francois Reinhart, who saw the passion in this boy’s eyes and decided to give him a chance. The two grew a deep friendship and worked on major advertisement campaigns for Hermes, Omega, Paco Rabanne, Pierre Cardin, and countless others. Together they captured unforgettable images of Cindy Crawford, Laeticia Casta, Anna Piaggi, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Yohji Yamamoto, and more…Reinhart, with his incredible passion and love of photography, further influenced Alex to capture life in every form through his Eye Finder. A career was born. In early 2000, Alex traveled to Asia visiting large cities, small towns, and rural landscapes taking photo reportages of everything that moved him. The result is an incredible photo documentary. In 2006, Alex moved to California. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
