Without the aid of a mirror, most every person can view themselves as a pair of hands before them in their environment. In this series of self portraits, featuring the artist's hand, the eye of the viewer and the eye are the artist are one, simultaneously. The images are a very personal, tactile experiences, following the artist's journeys - through decaying, abandoned buildings, a ghostly reflection in a mirror, a beach in Iceland, a hospital stay, a walk in a lush garden. These images can be at once viewed in the first and third person - the self can be both the viewer and the artist.
