Biography:
I grew up riding motorcycles, water and snow skiing, and on my bmx and mountain bike. At 17 I broke my back and would never be able to walk again. Five years later this is my latest body of photographic work. The series explores memories and these idealized landscapes that I once spent all my free time riding. It's a bitter-sweet emotion for me to sit in a place that I once loved to be so much yet is hardly accessible to me now. I find that this theme parallels problems and struggles that life deals us all.
