Biography:
I'm a photographer living in Brooklyn. I shoot mostly film, using old toy cameras, Polaroids and a heavy Hasselblad, and I tend towards the abstract and ephemeral in my photographs. I take airy pictures of tertiary colors, usually with a lot of blur. I don't do many self-portraits, but I love shooting people and our relationship to our surroundings.
In 2006 I was named an Avant Guardian by Surface Magazine as part of their annual fashion photography competition, and was the only woman to win that year. Since then I've been shooting for small art and fashion publications, such as Lines & Shapes and ANTLER, and have been in several Polaroid exhibitions both nationally and abroad.
