Cyndi Hidalgo-Knies is a native of California residing in Los Angeles. A self taught artist, she has been creating art since her childhood.
Hidalgo-Knies’ body of work focuses primarily on painting with a strong illustrating influence. Hidalgo-Knies has created a recognizable style with a market-worthy appeal. Her choice of media produces an interesting element to her work.
The freedom of self-expression was what always made Hidalgo-Knies enjoy being an artist. As a child, Hidalgo-Knies loved to draw. Her concentration in drawing would become a source of distraction for young Hidalgo-Knies. This was the beginning of her passion for the arts.
Hidalgo-Knies plans to pursue her passion by improving and evolving artistically, supporting her community through her active involvement in the arts and to promote an interest in contemporary art and the culture that accompanies it.
