Biography:
My name is Zaza Acevedo. I am an artist living in New York City. My favorite medium to work with is paint. The theme of my artwork is escapism and indulgence. My work addresses the pursuit of pleasure, it sincerely and insincerely suggests how important it is to seek. The process in which I create is much like the theme of my work; I remove my self from everything. Sometimes I will paint every hour that I am awake. The days pass by and the bills pile but I will only focus on the fulfillment and high I get from creating. Through my work I try to express that escapism can be both maddening and right-minded.
