Biography:
Janine Martel was born in Manhattan, NY and currently resides in New York City. Janine spent most of her career as a producer and “real people” casting director for industry professionals, such as, Errol Morris, Todd Phillips, Fabien Baron and photographers Sam Jones, Philip-Lorca Di Corcia and Peggy Sirota.rnIn 2003, Janine focused her camera and her talents on photographing children, which quickly resulted in her first solo show and the launching of her website. Since then she has become a favorite of commercial advertisers and private clients. Through her imaginative lens, Janine is best known for capturing children’s strength and identity without losing their innocence.rnIn 2004, Marc Levine, the Chief Photographer for the New York Mets, after being introduced to Janine’s work, asked her to expand her skills to include sports photography. This new challenge has proven both exciting and rewarding. Over the past four seasons, Janine has enjoyed numerous publication
