Biography:
Over the course of 3 years Janine Martel has taken self-portrait nudes for an exclusive series, “The Mirror Project”. Janine has traveled to several cities in the United States, including New Orleans, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle, finding various mirrors, in front of which to pose. From the Hallway of Mirrors at Liberace’s Mansion to the dancers dressing room at Rose City's Mary's Club, Janine’s photographs are both classical and cutting edge in portraying the existence of a female nude in the environment that surrounds her.
