Biography:
Eun Sun Lee is interdisciplinary artist and her interest is about people who are independent and interdependent at the same time. Her work explores relationships between people and emotional boundaries. Through video installation, photography and paintings, she creates uncertain situations using ordinary movements and objects and represents the beauty of the critical point of communication.
She received BFA in Sculpture at Ewha Woman’s University and MFA in Film Video and New Media at the School of Art Institute of Chicago. Her work has been shown in Korea, Chicago, and New York, including Smith College Museum of Art, Seoul museum of art, D.U.M.B.O. Art under the bridge festival, Around the Coyote Festival, Gallery Korea, Dead Tech and a solo show at SAIC LG space in 2006. She was in residency program of Lower Manhattan Cultural Council in 2007. She is now living and working in Brooklyn.
